This is a great place to enjoy a well-prepared meal after a downtown matinee or before an evening show. The service is friendly and efficient, and will give special attention to those who mention they want to be finished to be at the theatre or concert on time. Interesting pastas and specials made with in-season vegetables are highlights. I have visited several times and always had good luck finding on street parking within one block. The location is near a freeway exit and major streets that lead to many of Milwaukee's downtown attractions, and so is easy to find." Dane L. Odom
A great place for a romantic dinner! Food, atmosphere & staff are all wonderful! It's a great restaurant with a fun atmosphere for a fun dinner with friends or for a quiet romantic dinner for two. Donald Moore
Varied italian menu with some great dishes. The pumpkin ravioli (on their fall and winter menu) are to die for! there is something for everyone from meats to fish to pasta. Upscale casual venue with a pleasant atmosphere. Overall, a solid kitchen that provides an excellent value.Sherry Cantu
We had lunch here one Saturday. The eclectic menu offered everyone a satisfactory choice, and the food was excellent! Two of us split a Caesar salad and a portobello mushroom appetizer, both were flavorful. The kitchen split them for us, always a nice touch. (we had said to the waitress we were sharing but anticipated doing our own splitting which most places expect.). My husbands "straw and hay" pasta was delicious...he wouldn't share a taste. Our fourth had a beef tenderloin sandwich and left not a crumb.
The rolls are very fresh and warm, and they serve olives in a herbed olive oil at the table. Our waitress kindly refreshed ours twice!
On top of the wonderful food the place is charming to look at and conversation friendly. The only minor disappointment...no herbal teas.
We will return next time we are in Milwaukee.Willie Ray
